David has traveled to over
30 coffee producing countries worldwide. He has visited
virtually every coffee research station and has been instrumental
in defining coffee varieties for quality, much like the
wine industry. David continues to work globally supporting
quality improvements in quality which also improves the
quality of the lives of the producers.
Who is David Roche
David currently travels the world visiting coffee plantations
and
devising
ways that coffee growers can improve both the quality
of their coffee and their lives. Prior to this, Mr. Roche
worked as VP of Operations for a large producer and procurer
of organic herbs and spices. More importantly David has
spent over 30 years working with coffee, starting while
living in Colombia and Mexico as an agronomist working
with
small farmers. David’s coffee experience includes developing
the Kaanapali Coffee Plantation in Maui, Hawaii, a 500
acre plantation known for its unique selection of coffee
varieties.
